Galadriel Schulze has enjoyed the role of actor and producer on “Las Perdidas” and is
extremely excited to see where it may lead. Galadriel’s passion for performing began at an
early age in school and community productions in her home state of New Hampshire. After
attending Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania on a performance scholarship, Galadriel
traveled the country in a national tour of “A Christmas Carol” and worked as a salaried
company member at a regional theater in Michigan. To celebrate the millennium, Galadriel
packed her bags and came to sunny southern CA where she quickly got hired as one of the
elite “world famous studio guides” at Universal Studios Hollywood. She has since been
selected as the company’s premiere on-air spokesperson, traveling the country promoting
news worthy events to media outlets.  It was when Galadriel was lucky enough to get cast in an
international movie shooting in Lagos, Nigeria, that she met Laura Somers. Galadriel and
Laura became fast friends and collaborators and, in 2005, started their own production
company LaGa Productions. The team has produced three projects, one of which, “Captain
C**k Blocker", was selected as The People’s Choice Award winner at the Universal Film
Festival.  In 2006, LaGa Films united forces with Lauren Costa and Celia Botet to produce the
collaborative, female-driven project “Las Perdidas.”
Eric Croft is an editor with 15 years of experience from Austin to New York to LA.  Eric has
covered the coasts with a 4 year stop in Pittsburgh for a more well-rounded American
experience.  Long time friend of Laura Somers and first time collaborator, Eric currently works
as an online editor in Burbank.
Erik Forssell was born and raised in La Habra, CA.  His film making addiction started in 1999 at
the age of twenty.  Erik studied photography and film making at Orange Coast College in
Orange County, then continued on to complete a degree from the Art Center College of
Design in Pasadena where he earned a B.F.A. Degree in Film with emphasis on
cinematography.  For the past six years Erik mentored under the late Laszlo Kovacs, A.S.C. He
has completed three feature films as well as a variety of other visual projects as Director of
Photography.  Erik is presently working as the Director of Programming for the 2008 Newport
Beach Film Festival.
Lauren Costa was born and raised in New York, attended NYU, Tisch School of
the Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theater School, performed in over 40 NY stage
productions and has lived in LA for 3 years.  She can be seen hawking such
products as digital cameras and double cheese burgers on both TV and the
Internet.  She is a founding member of the NY based Flying Ass Monkeys, a
sketch comedy group formed with fellow Perdida, Celia Botet.  Lauren has
costumed and produced many films and stage productions and is in the process
of writing two projects with Ms. Botet.
Laura Somers was born in Houston and grew up in Pasadena, TX, a blue-collar city known for
its miles of oil refineries and Gilley’s, the infamous honky-tonk venue featured in the film Urban
Cowboy.  After receiving her BFA from New York University, she began directing and writing
independent film and theater.  Between 1999 – 2003, Laura Somers was Co-Artistic Director of
the critically acclaimed award-winning theater company the dirigo group in Austin, TX.  Having
directed over 30 plays and films to date, Somers’ work with the dirigo group was honored by
American Theater Magazine as one of twelve rising American theater companies “to watch”
that were “hot, hip and on the verge”.  Since arriving to Los Angeles in 2004, Somers has
acted as a consultant to various film directors, and was a co-writer and co-director of Fated, an
African production shot in Lagos, Nigeria.  She is a graduate of the Advanced Screenwriting
program at UCLA, and her short film, Captain C**kblocker won the "People's Choice Award" at
the Universal Studios Film Festival in May 2006.   From 2006 – 2007, Somers served as the
project manager of the “An Inconvenient Truth” DVD giveaway at Participant Productions,
overseeing an unprecedented social marketing outreach campaign that helped to create buzz
for the 3rd highest grossing documentary of all time.  Las Perdidas, which deals with cultural
bias, language barriers and situational comedy, is her fourth short film.  She is in the midst of
post-production on a feature, Diving Lessons, has been commissioned by UCLA Medical
Center to create educational films for incoming patients, and has begun pre-production on a
feature film, Mandoula, with co-producer Galadriel Schulze.
Amy Lee Wheeler
Set Design
Amy has a BA in Production Design for Film and Television as well as more than seven years
of interior design experience. Although college taught her the basics, much of her real
education has been from working with other talented people in production design, graphic
design, printing and interior design. She’s found that each scope of work requires
communication of ideas throughout, no matter what size or budget and this is a principle that
she instills into all of her work. Amy’s recent work includes Production Design for films like
'Protecting the King' and 'Crazy Love' and Art Direction work on various TV projects including
her current position with NBC's "The Office".
Born in Phoenix, AZ, Tony Grimes had an early attraction to music that led to lessons in piano
and guitar, and vocal performances. Almost immediately out of high school Tony attended the
“Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences” in Tempe, AZ. Upon graduating the
Conservatory, Tony secured a position at the famed “Cherokee Recording Studios” in
Hollywood, California. At Cherokee his knowledge of the music business rapidly grew through
first hand experience, and his recording skills were honed by learning many of the “tricks of the
trade” while working directly with some of the music industry’s most honored producers. Tony
has traveled, actively performed, and recorded for the past six years as the lead guitarist, male
vocalist, and co-songwriter in the band Wall of Tom with partner Tommie Vaughn Potter. In
2005, he created his own recording studio (Grimey-Potts Studio) nestled in the hills of
Hollywood where he has recorded not only Wall of Tom, but also for other independent artists
and groups such as Vera and Jane, Jake Payne, Dirty Lingo and many others. Tony has
expanded his efforts to include scoring and composition for independent films. Tony is a
member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
